The Canadian digital future is evolving constantly. The use of devices has increased at a vast rate over the years. The amount of time spent on laptops/desktop computers and mobile devices is incredibly high. Back when I was growing up we didn't rely on such things as we do now. We wanted a pizza we would call or we wanted to hang out with our friends we would knock on their door, not text. Things changed so quickly in a short time and, the world is becoming dependant on the use of these devices and tools. When I started out I was so amused by what facebook was and, the ability to re-connect with old friends and, have fun as well with posts and, games. Of course, our office Mohawk South Medical uses computers and it's solely relied on as, almost all of our information required for patients and so on is stored inside our computer systems. I was pretty surprised while researching the Canadian digital Future article to find that more Canadian are going mobile more than the other devices. I personally find it simply easier to use my computer to do what I need to get done. People use a lot of web sources based on their ages. When reading the article I found that it was very accurate as to how my household is with a mixture of all different ages. Perhaps your mother and father-in-law are slowly learning to use facebook. Your teenagers are bigger fans of Snapchat and Instagram. And maybe your younger children use things like Xbox and Ipads to play games such as Roblox and youtube. I think the biggest problem with all these platforms is the plagiarism and how easy it is to do. To sum up, what I think, I believe the future will thrive digitally and, the old ways some of us once knew will become only memories in time, such as a video I once watched of parents offering their two sons to work a rotary dial phone, it was very funny they had a offer of cash if they can figure out how to dial a number and the struggle was there, I do think in the end they got it.
